Staff Engineer - Lustre

Role & Responsibilities:

Design and develop new features for our high-performance storage platforms.

Maintain and enhance existing software solutions.

Analyze and resolve software bugs across multiple platforms.

Collaborate with Engineering Managers and distributed teams to understand product requirements.

Contribute to technical documentation and product validation.

Optimize performance for specific use cases and deployment environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

12+ years of experience in software development with C in Linux environments.

3+ years of experience working with enterprise-class storage, HPC systems, or distributed systems.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with Parallel File Systems, especially Lustre, is a plus.

Experience with Linux networking, kernel VFS, IO subsystems, and Ext4 file system is preferred.

Hands-on experience with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, and GitHub is a plus.
