Warehouse Operative
About the role
Eco Celt Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Warehouse Operative to join our team in Ballinamore. This is a varied, hands-on role that is vital to the smooth running of our warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer orders, managing stock, unloading and loading deliveries, maintaining warehouse standards and supporting the wider operations team.
This is a six month fixed term contract with potential for extension, or to become permanent, depending on performance and company operational requirements. Interviews will be held for this position in early September.
Key responsibilities:
Safely unload deliveries from suppliers.
Load customer deliveries and collection vehicles accurately and securely.
Pick, build and prepare customer orders for dispatch.Tint render buckets to customer specifications using the company's tinting system.
Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times.
Monitor stock levels and report items that require re-ordering.
Carry out stock checks and assist with periodic stock takes.
Operate the warehouse baler safely for waste and recycling.
Complete and maintain accurate warehouse records and delivery paperwork.
Liaise with the Operations team regarding incoming deliveries, customer orders and dispatch schedules.
Liaise with the Accounts team to ensure delivery paperwork and documentation are completed accurately.
Store materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
Undertake any other duties reasonably required to support the business.
Essential Requirements
Previous warehouse or stores experience
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Desirable Requirements
A valid Forklift Truck Licence is advantageous.
Previous experience operating a forklift.
Experience using stock control systems.
Experience using colour tinting or mixing equipment

What We Offer
Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 5.00pm
€14.15 per hour
Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am–5:00pm).
A stable, full-time position with no weekend working.
