The City of Melville is seeking motivated and high-performing talent to join our Environment and Infrastructure Directorate.

Unique opportunities have been designed for emerging professionals who are ready to apply their technical knowledge in a professional environment whilst exercising a higher level of autonomy and accountability.

About the Roles

Location: City of Melville Civic Centre

Salary: Entry from $97,632.35 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, with progression available up to $113,642.76 as capability and experience develop.

Two unique permanent full-time opportunities (1. Project Engineer and 2. Project Officer – Community Infrastructure) have been established within our Engineering and City Buildings and Projects business units. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of engineering and community and club-led infrastructure projects across the City to support our growing community.

The successful candidate will receive support, mentoring, and development opportunities while progressively developing the expertise, judgement, and professional capability required to operate effectively within the Environment and Infrastructure Directorate. Selection will be based on demonstrated capability, potential and alignment to the requirements of the role. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete psychometric testing as part of the selection process.
