Python Developer

Duties

Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, ensuring high scalability and performance

Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between front-end and back-end components

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into technical specifications and system design diagrams (UML)

Integrate with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, optimizing database design and T-SQL queries

Build and enhance web applications utilizing frameworks like Django or Flask, incorporating front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, and AJAX

Implement multithreading and distributed computing techniques to improve application responsiveness and efficiency

Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold high-quality standards in accordance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) practices

Skills

Proficiency in Python programming language with experience in developing scalable backend solutions

Strong understanding of system design principles for building distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)

Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration of web services (SOAP, WCF)

Knowledge of database design and management using relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB

Familiarity with front-end development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular

Experience with version control systems like GitHub, Git, SVN, TFS for collaborative development workflows

Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes

Ability to work within Agile software development environments using tools like Visual Studio or Eclipse

Strong debugging skills combined with experience in unit testing frameworks for reliable software delivery

Familiarity with application security best practices including API security standards and system authentication protocols
